Fozzy is Director and Chief Visionary at Innovationsmanufaktur in Munich. His main focus and core competence is defining innovation projects and initiating them in suitable partner constellations, where complex social issues are addressed and creative, effective solutions are developed.

Fozzy received his doctorate from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1994 with a thesis comparing innovation in Japan and Germany. This was followed by many invitations to teach innovation worldwide and advise institutions such as the Asian Institute of Technology in Bangkok and the Universidad de Las Américas in Puebla, Mexico. However, Fozzy's mission and passion is to ensure that innovation actually happens and contributes to shaping a desirable future. He therefore sees himself as a bridge builder between science, society and business. His book ‘Holistic Innovation’ (Springer 2009) provides the methodological basis for this work. His current areas of focus are the joy of movement and physical activity, active mobility, access to water areas and the benefits of sport for desirable social developments.
