Unsere erste gemeinsame Studie beschäftigt sich mit der Frage, ob das 9-Euro-Ticket den Modal Split von Sportler:innen bei der Fahrt zum/vom Training beeinflusst.

Our first joint study addresses the question of whether the 9-euro ticket influences the modal split of athletes when traveling to/from training.

From September 24 to 26, 2023, our first Sustainable Sports Symposium took place at the University of Bayreuth. Under the motto "The Sport's Race To Zero" it was about Sport Ecology, Sustainability in Sports and Education for Sustainable Development.
On September 14, 2023, Julia Lohmann, our co-founder and shareholder of sportainable gUG, was awarded as Emerging Sustainability Leader by MDPI Sustainability Foundation
On June 3, 2023 a booster club for the think tank sportainable was founded to acquire funds for research and educational projects of the think tank.
The Ecopoint concept extends the notion of redpoint by including the approach by fair means (public transport, bike, boat, foot):
The FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar is discussed controversially. We accompany the event by postings in social media with critical-constructive thoughts on sustainable development referring to the 17 SDGs of the United Nations.
